When it comes to birth stories, I’ve been on both sides of the spectrum. With our first born, we didn’t have a birth photographer. We have no photos to see my husbands reaction to seeing Beckett for the very first time, no photos of us as a family of three. Nothing to remind me of that day.
When Arden was born, we vowed to make sure we could relive those moments. The photos that captured the love that was flowing from my husband as he saw his girl for the first time are one of the best investments I’ve ever made.

Originally we were nervous about how awkward a birthing session could be and Sara's calming presence and experience made any awkwardness disappear. Sara's approach of blending in with us and capturing candid moments was exactly what we were looking for. The shoot yielded absolutely stunning shots and a timeline to remember our sons entrance into the world. She was even able to capture some sweet interactions between "mom & dad" that we treasure!

A studio session is a fully posed session in my home studio with the use of a trained safety assistant. All family and sibling shots are included in the studio session. A lifestyle newborn session is photographed within the walls of your own home. The lifestyle session has a much more relaxed approach, with no formal posing. All family & sibling shots are included in the lifestyle session.
What is the difference between a studio newborn session and a lifestyle newborn session?
